Corals, even those with zooxanthellae (unicellular algae), which feed on light, require nutrient supplements.
Reef Booster was designed in close cooperation with aquaculture experts. The basis were highly effective products which were used in breeding sites for crustaceans, mollusks and bivalve larvae.
It is an all-round nutrient supplement containing all essential elements for invertebrates that feed entirely or partially on microplankton and for corals with zooxanthellae for which microplankton supplementation is required.
Reef Booster promotes the development of corals, giant clams and the microfauna, but also the reduction of nitrates and phosphates by feeding and maintaining anaerobic bacteria and live rocks.
After a few weeks of use, reef forming corals (such as Plerogyra and Euphyllia) start to evolve, and non reef forming corals (such as Scleronephtya and Tubastraea) and gorgonids start to evolve. The coloration of the corals is also stabilizing.
Reef Booster contains high concentrations of polyunsaturated Omega 3 fatty acids, which marine organisms demand.
A few drops of Reef Booster into the fish food and it becomes tastier. This is an excellent solution for slow feeding of difficult or recently imported fish.
