Artemia nauplii are naturally extraordinarily nutrient-dense. At 55.4% protein on dry weight, with a notable content of omega-3 fatty acids and natural pigments, they deliver a broad nutritional spectrum in the smallest particle size. Older brine shrimp lose a significant portion of these nutrients through their own metabolism – by preserving nauplii directly at hatching, exactly what matters is retained.

Baby brine shrimp are the first choice for raising fish larvae – and for good reason. Particle size matches the mouth of newly hatched fry, and the movement of nauplii reliably triggers the hunting instinct. What many underestimate: even many adult fish, including notorious feeding refusers, will take baby brine shrimp immediately. A practical tool when a newly introduced fish won't accept other food.
