Aqua’Betta facilitates the maintenance of tanks with bacterial support or biological filtration by combining the conditioner Bett'Activ - that fits the tap water to Bettas – and the living bacteria of Aqua'Bacter - specifically selected for cold water.
Bett'Activ eliminates toxic substances like chlorine and chloramines from tap water. Its formula specially designed for Bettas protects their skin, mucous membranes, gills and fins.
In addition, the natural binder of ammonia contained in vials of Bett'Activ traps ammonia and reduces the production of nitrites, while nutrients accelerate the purifying action of bacteria of Aqua'Bacter.
Aqua'Bacter is composed of natural nitrifying and denitrifying bacterial strains specifically adapted to cold water and selected for their ability to convert ammonia into nitrites, nitrites into nitrates and nitrates into nitrogen. These bacteria purify the water and allow the rapid establishment of biological filtration.
Using Aqua'Betta when starting a tank and for each water change adapts tap water to Bettas and maintains biological filtration.
