Symptoms of low Vanadium levels:
- Pale colors in SPS, reduced photosynthesis of zooxanthellae
- Reduced growth of sponges
Causes of low Vanadium levels:
- Insufficient trace element supply
- Too low content in salt mix
- Excessive skimming and use of adsorbers and activated carbon
- Strong growth of stony corals
